Lotus Root and Pork Rib Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g pork ribs
- 1 lotus root (about 300g)
- 2 slices of ginger
- 1 green onion
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1.5L water
Instructions:
- Blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse with cold water and drain.
- Peel and slice the lotus root into thin pieces.
- Heat up a pot of water and add the pork ribs, ginger, and green onion. Bring to a boil and skim off any foam.
- Add the lotus root and cooking wine, and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add salt to taste and serve hot.
